About the Position

PMA is looking for one or more PLC programmers to join our team in Fjälkinge.

You will work on the development and programming of automation systems for industrial machines and robotic cells. The role involves participating in the entire project process – from programming and testing to commissioning and optimization at the client’s site.

The work is carried out in projects together with technicians, developers, and project managers where you collectively develop effective automation solutions for the industry.

Travel within Sweden and internationally may occur.

Responsibilities

Your role includes, among other things:

• Programming and configuring PLC systems
• Developing automation solutions for machines and robotic cells
• Troubleshooting and optimizing existing automation systems
• Conducting tests and commissioning
• Documenting programs and system changes
• Participating in project meetings and contributing to technical solutions

Qualifications

Requirements

• Experience in PLC programming within industrial automation
• Experience with Siemens TIA Portal
• Experience in programming, simulation, troubleshooting, and commissioning

Preferred

• Education in electrical engineering, automation, or mechatronics (YH or university)
• Experience with HMI programming
• Experience with Beckhoff
• Experience with SCADA systems
• Experience with industrial high-level languages
